THOMPSON, Barrie James; Barrie’s life journey ended unexpectedly and peacefully in the Christchurch Hospital ICU on 12 October 2017.  Best friend of Janet and father of Max. Dearly loved son of Peggy and the late Sid, son-in-law of Betty and the late Doug. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Judith and Trevor, Graeme and Anne, Jeffrey, Alan, Colleen and Rob, David and Mari. Loved uncle and great uncle of his nieces and nephews. A celebration of Barrie’s life will be held at Sopheze On The Bay, Timaru, on Wednesday October 18th, at 1:30pm. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
