Kirsty Ireton

My husband Mitch and I along with Julian and Hayley Donaldson took over the reins at Betts from Mitch’s parents in 2016 and in 2017 I joined the team in an office support role after returning from overseas. Prior to coming to Betts, I managed a team at a rural telecommunications company here in Timaru and then followed a dream of working on a cattle station in the outback of Australia followed by 4 years in an international horse training stable in Germany that took me travelling around the world.

I am now fortunate to be back home continuing a family legacy that we are all very proud to be a part of. I find it extremely rewarding to be part of helping families who are experiencing loss and I am privileged to support our funeral directors to deliver the perfect send off and care for the families who come to us in their time of grief.

Outside of my time at Betts, I enjoy the outdoors and mountains where you can find me skiing, horse riding or running.
