Passed away on 20 May 2025, peacefully at home, aged 80, surrounded by her cherished family. Much loved wife and best friend of Bill for 60 plus years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Stuart and Andrea, Alan and Sandra, Donald and Nicola, Nyree and Pieter Schaar. Nana of Rosaria and Mike, Isabella and Jock, and Mitchell; Robbie and Monique, Samantha and Jack; Lily, Jack, and Hollie; Joshua, and Emily, very proud nana of her five great-grandchildren.

A service for Shona will be held at the Caroline Bay Hall, Timaru on Tuesday, May 27 at 1.30pm, followed by Shona’s last car run to the crematorium, which Vintage and Classic vehicles are welcome to join.
