Peacefully at home on Sunday July 27th 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Leonie for 52 years. Much loved father and father in law of Scott and Tara, Amanda, Kate and Blair and loved and cherished granddad of Maddi, Harry, and Louisa; Jack, George, Tom, and Annabel. Courageously lost his battle with cancer.

A service for John will be held in the Caroline Bay Hall, Timaru on Friday August 1st at 1pm, thereafter a private interment.
