Betty passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 12th, 2025, at the South Canterbury Hospice in Timaru. A dearly loved wife of the late Derrick Alexander Emmerson, of 65 years. Very much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Graeme and Bronwyn and Sandra and Murray. A much-loved nana of Claire, Alex, Scott, and Logan, and their partners Dan, Bella, and Alana. A dearly loved great nana of Evie, Florence, Peyton, and Lachlan.

Thank you very much for the wonderful and thoughtful care provided by the Hospice and the services of the Presbyterian Support staff, and the district nursing support.

As per Betty’s wishes, a private family burial has been held.
