David passed away peacefully at Timaru Hospital on 31st May 2025. Dearly loved Husband of Valda and the late Shirley. Loved father and father in law of Judith and Kelvin Gaskill, and Bruce. Loved grandfather of Genevieve, Amelia, and Claire. Loved stepfather of Chris, and the late Phillip Gaines, granddad of Matt and great grandad of Maisey, and Fletcher. He was an admired brother in law of his extended family.

Special thanks to the Pleasant Point Medical Centre, his carers and district nurses.
