Simms, Maureen Joan (nee Turnbull)

Passed away peacefully at South Canterbury Hospice with her loving family by her side on Friday, 16th, May 2025. Treasured wife of the late Gordon, loved mother and mother-in-law of Michelle, Steven and Tansy, Shane and Amanda, Natasha and Terry Coyle, and Shantel and Neil. Loved nana of Jamie and Samara, Aisha and Jackson, Shay and Jesse, Jacob, Chloe and the late Tatana, Ava, Kaitlyn, Hunter, and Izabella. Loved great granny of Ezrah, Felix, Doltynn, and Aaleyah. Maureen’s family wish to thank the South Canterbury Hospice staff and Heath the cat for your care and compassion for Maureen over the last week.

In keeping with Maureen’s wishes a private service has been held.
