Growing up in a small South Canterbury town, I always knew funeral directing was an industry I wanted to be involved in at some stage. The majority of my professional career I have been involved in education (early childhood initially and then, later on, primary teaching). When I was presented with the opportunity to join the Betts team, I grabbed it with both hands.
I have an amazing husband and 3 extremely supportive and active teenage children. Together we live on our small lifestyle block just south of Timaru with our 3 dogs and a varied assortment of other animals. In my spare time I enjoy getting out and active on the farm, walking and running with the dogs, as well as reading and catching up with family and friends.
For me, it’s a privilege to have the opportunity to be involved in and to assist families through what can sometimes be a very stressful and unfamiliar time. I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve the wider South Canterbury community.
