BENNIE, Doreen Louise (nee Hurndell) 10/01/2018

BENNIE, Doreen Louise (nee Hurndell) of Timaru and formerly Palmerston, passed away peacefully at South Canterbury Hospice on Wednesday 10^th of January, in her 91^st year.  Dearly beloved wife of the late Jack Bennie. Treasured mother and mother in law of Carol and Gary, Vaughan and Judy, Wayne and Eileen, Ben and Robin, Jackie and Craig. Treasured Nana of all 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Margaret Wilson retirement village, Hospice and her Dr. Rob Helliwell and staff for their loving care of Doreen.  A celebration of Doreen’s life will be held at Betts Funeral Services, 33 North Street at 2pm on Thursday 18^th of January.
