FERRISS, Alan Evelyn (J.P.): passed away peacefully at the South Canterbury Hospice on September 28, 2017, in his 85th year; much-loved husband of Alison, loved stepfather of Andrew and Claire, Mark (deceased), Peter, and Joanna, and loved grand-dad  of Nicole, Skye, Dean, and Rhys. A celebration of Alan's life will be held at St. Mary's Church, Church St, Timaru on Monday, October 2 at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. Messages to: 3 Wilson St, Timaru, 7910.
