LESTER, Gertrude Alice (Gert): Peacefully at Timaru on Tuesday March 28th 2017 in her 94th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Val, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Valerie and Ralph Ritchie, Tom and Frances (Geraldine), John and Mary (Temuka), Howard and Rosemary (Waiau), Sally and Steve Reid (Townsville, QLD), Wendy and Pat Wiseman (Oxford), Alister and Lyn, Jenny and Russell Wilson (Maryborough, QLD), David, Robin and Lesley (Sydney), Dudley (Tokarahi), Geoffrey (Christchurch), Kaye and Tom Hatrick (Townsville, QLD), Nicola (Townsville, QLD) and the late Janet. Loved Nana of her 44 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren. A service for Gert will be held at St Johns Anglican Church, Wai-iti Road, Timaru on Saturday April 1st at 11am, thereafter an interment at the Timaru Cemetery.
