LAWS, Peter John; Peacefully in his 80th year, on the 9th March 2017 at the South Canterbury Hospice with his loved ones at his side. Soulmate and cherished husband of Eila of 58 years, treasured dad of Winsome Hopkinson (Melbourne), Kathryn and Eric Strachan (Timaru), Barry and Tony (Sydney), Ken and Annie (Nelson), Graeme and Hayley (Perth). Much loved grandad to Kelly, Sara, Chris, the late Peter, Sophie, Louis, Brett, Samantha, Leo and Finn. Also great grandad to Paige, Holly, Mia, Abby, Jack, Xavier and Liam,. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who cared for Peter in his last days. A requiem mass for Peter will be celebrated at St Thomas Catholic Church, Mountain View Rd, Timaru on Tuesday 14th March at 11am followed by a private cremation.
