GARDNER, Joan (Barbara Joan), nee Hamilton: peacefully, at the South Canterbury Hospice on December 19, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, aged 71 years; much-loved wife of Peter, dearly loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Andrew and Emma, Mary, and John, a proud and devoted grandmother of Sam, and Isla, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Mary and Roger Donkin, Margaret and John Munro, the late Kay and Frank Caroe, and the late Gwen and Lester Cant. A funeral service for Joan will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Wai-iti Rd, Timaru on Friday, December 23 at 2pm, followed by private cremation.
