DUFFY, Arthur Lawrence; RNZN SgmnWW2; Peacefully at Timaru Hospital on Wednesday Dec 7th 2016, in his 94th year, surrounded by his loving family.  Dearly loved husband of Mary, loved and adored father and father-in-law of Suzanne and Maurice Eddington, the late Lawrence Duffy and the late Geoffrey Lord. Cherished and respected gramps of Sara and Todd Bentley, Juliette and Jason Stevenson, Lawrence, and James. Loved great gramps and pa of Minnie, Taylah, and Scarlett; Thomas and George; Liliana; and Korbyn. Also loved and sorely missed by Madeline, Janny, Hemi, Tamati, Jo and Savannah. Loved son of the late Alexander and Florence Duffy and brother of Verna and the late Alec Duffy.  "Forever our loyal legend".
