Armstrong, Duncan Alan. Passed away peacefully at South Canterbury Hospice on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Carmel, loved and respected father and father in law of Catherine and Gavin Barker, David Armstrong, Noreen and Mike Rhodes, Jennie and Tony O'Hare, much loved granddad of Megan, James, and Alice; Tom and Jess, Dan, Matt, and Emma; Aimee and Nic, and Rebecca; and Cameron. A funeral Mass for Alan will be held at St Thomas Catholic Church corner Mountain View and Wai-iti Roads on Friday October 26th  at 10am thereafter interment at the Timaru cemetery. A Rosary will be held in the Church on Thursday October 25th at 6pm. Donations to the South Canterbury Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
